Alexa Racioppi
Ballet/Jazz & Studio Coordinator

Alexa is a New York City based performer, creator and educator. Her dance career began when she was very young, having the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall at the age of 10, and again at 12. She then went on to train with The American Ballet Theatre and Manhattan Youth Ballet in hopes of achieving her dream of becoming a professional ballerina. Along the way, Broadway stole her heart!

Alexa has been working professionally in the Broadway community since graduating from Montclair State University (Go Red Hawks!) with a BFA in Dance and a BFA in Musical Theatre. Throughout her career she has had the opportunity to work closely with industry legends such as Mark Hoebee (Papermill Playhouse), Alex Sanchez (Papermill Playhouse, Marriott Theatre) as well as Kim Craven and Andy Blankenbuehler (CATS Broadway Revival Tour), just to name a few!

Alexa has been teaching musical theatre dance and ballet as well as choreographing shows in New Jersey and NYC for 10 years! Skilled in working with both students who consider themselves “singer/ actors”, who want to feel more comfortable in dance calls, to students who consider themselves “dancers”, who want to bring the art of storytelling to their already advanced movement. Alexa is thrilled to bring her years of industry and teaching experience to the wonderful students at Shuffles!
